Overview
This is practical course intended to give candidates the skills required to fulfill the role of an Axe Tester in a commercial environment. Using Axe and a chosen execution tool in conjunction to test the Odin Portal sample application, candidates attending this course will be given a combination of instructor led exercises and hands-on experience of building, running and analysing tests with Axe.
Objectives
To give candidates:
- a thorough understanding of all the features of Axe used by an Axe Tester.
- the ability to design tests for Axe using Excel.
- the ability to build tests using Axe and diagnose errors in the design and build phase.
- the ability to execute Axe tests and analyse the Axe test results.
- an understanding of the test management integration features of Axe.
Pre-Requisites
Candidates should have:
- familiarity with testing terminology, or ISEB accreditation.
- awareness of Testing tools.
- good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
